Frequently Asked Questions

1. Now I have registered, what’s next?
   • Request scoutmaster in your troop to add Mr. Ting as your merit badge counselor.
   • After the registration deadline was reached, Mr. Ting will send an e-mail to all attendees to let you know what you need to prepare for the workshop
2. What shall I wear to the merit badge workshop?
   • You must wear uniform A (the full scout uniform) to the workshop
   • You will not be allowed to participate the workshop without the uniform
3. What do I have to bring to the workshop?
   • Workbook with the required portions completed. Mr. Ting will send you e-mail to let you know which requirements need to be done before the workshop.
   • Pen and notepad
   • Any specific items mentioned by Mr. Ting for the merit badge that you are earning
4. Is there a make up class if I can’t make it to the scheduled workshop?
   • There will be no make up class unless otherwise stated in the workshop description.
5. Where are the workshop taking place?
   • Most workshops will be held at Home of Christ Church in Cupertino (10340 Bubb Rd, Cupertino).
